All observations are being reprocessed using the latest version of MTPIPE (V_6_4). The results can be found on the MT Operations Home Page.

The latest reductions are still preliminary though Version 0_2 of the standard system has been posted to the MT Operation Page.

    Table Notes:
    The designations for "type" of standards used:
  • Fund indicates a Fundamental Standard
  • Pri indicates a Primary Standard
  • RB indicates an extra star added to form a Red-Blue pair in a field or to extend the red or blue color terms, or a spectrophotometric std.
  • field indicates the pointing coords. for a multi-star (or soon to be) field.
  • Star names in black indicate extra stars in the field that we get for free, usually in the equatorial fields. This will be expanding soon!
  • For the "fields", the star name's font color will be the key
  • The synthetic values listed for r' and (g'- r') are APPROXIMATE ONLY. They WILL change once we've finished the calibration.

We are currently tracking 202 stars for use as possible primary standards, including the new star added today. There are extra stars on this list; usually those in fields that are being monitored for possible inclusion as primaries. Of these stars, 142 are within 10 degrees of the celestial equator; 15 are 10 or more degrees south and 45 are more than 10 degrees north (with 40 of these 20 or more degrees north).
